Persuasive Essay for Sustainable Electricity -myassignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about thePersuasive Essay for Sustainable Electricity. Answer: Securing a sustainable future for electricity Sustainability refers to the act of balancing all the aspects involved in the adequate flow of activities in nature. Sustainability helps the community to balance the biological, economic, social and environmental aspects together. The concept of sustainability is an expanded term which was originated to develop measure to solve the environmental degradation and save the natural resource. Electricity is one of the natural resources which help people to manage their daily flow of work efficiently. Being a natural resource and a non-renewable energy resource shall be used efficiently so that the electricity is sustained for the future generation (Strauss, Rupp, Love, 2016). The need to save the electricity has been emerged due to overutilization and wastage of electricity in the environment. Sustainability plays the role to save the electricity so that it can for a longer period than expected. Talking about the stakeholder who is involved with the sustainable use of electricity are community/ society, government, corporates etc. Further in term of electricity sustainability refers to the effective and efficient use of electricity and energy in such a way that this non-renewable energy is saved for future use as well. The essay further provides an overview of sustainability and its issue which is depleting the electricity ratio for future generation. The essay also tells about the solutions with the aid of which the environment can regain a sustainable growth for electricity. Electricity is an innovation which is now mandatory for people to use, without which no livelihood is possible in today's era, so it is the responsibility for the community to adequ ately make use of electricity to initiate long growth (Zhou, et. al., 2016). Electricity is major aspect with the help of which all corporates and household chores work, so this shall be known that if there is no electricity for the future consumption then it can become a major issue due to which many innovations and other activities can stop. So if a country wants to grow and gain success then they need to attain adequate electricity and use to wisely so that it is saved for the future generation as well (Bengtsson, Rachlew, Wagner, 2016). Further, the key challenges faced in energy consumption are discussed below. Firstly, the major issue faced by countries nowadays regarding the consumption of energy in their use is that there is more access to electricity in the urban areas, whereas rural area people are barred with the use of such energy. This shows that there is an inadequate distribution of energy in the different parts of the country. People on whom, a restriction shall be imposed on the consumption of electricity are using it without any limit, and people shall come forward to innovative technology and shall be given electricity to the optimum level are restricted from such energy resources (Bhattacharya, et. al., 2016). Another key issue due to which the main problem of energy sustainability has occurred is the exploitation of natural resources, not talking specifically about the electricity consumption but the use of natural resources overall. People do not understand the need of the era to save the natural resources otherwise the future growth is impossible. So, another issue is that people exploit the electricity and over consumes it (Khan, Arsalan, 2016). Further, talking about the electricity sustainability in the environmental context, it shall be noted that energy is the aspect which is used on daily basis people to initiate their day to day activities, so consumption of electricity cannot be stopped on any conditions, but the issue related to the environment is that there is lack of energy resources in the environment, and more people using the electricity. Summarizing it shall be noted that there is more demand for electricity and less supply of electricity in the environment. Due to which non-renewable resources are getting depleted, and once if they are ended then it cannot be renewed through any other resources nor can it be replaced (Garba, Kishk, Moore, 2017). The social issue related to the electricity sustainability is that now days the focus of people is shifting from sustainability. This can be understood in such a way that during the festive time people believe in showing their status by making use of more and better resources than required. So, instead of using single light they make use of more lights for exposure and glow due to which electricity is majorly wasted. If a single person makes use of such electricity in this way then it is okay but now more people overuse the non-renewable electricity and forget about the sustainability of the environment (Abushnaf, Rassau, Grnisiewicz, 2016). Apart from that, for the purpose of innovation as well more and more nonrenewable resources are used by the society on a whole. For instance, talking about railways and transportation, starting from the use of trains which used to work on coal and petroleum, now the transportation has shifted to electric cars and train. Due to which more electricity is consumed than earlier. Resulting to which although innovation provides support to the people it also somehow increases the use of non-renewable resources like electricity in the environment. Also, use to excessive use of electricity, the environment is changing its normal state as electricity generates radiations which can adversely affect the health of people and nature as well (Canfield, Bruine de Bruin, Wong-Parodi, 2017). Also with increased technology, the fact has been known that everything is shifting to use of electronic consumer goods like, mobile phones, laptops etc. due to which more power is needed by people to charge these appliances, thus it shall be regarded as economic issues to the sustainable use of electricity. People are using electricity more than they are allotted, which means that consumption of per capital electricity is more than the standard due to which the natural resources are depleting. Also, the alternatives innovated to replace the electricity cannot adequately fulfill the requirement of people and they cannot even fully replace this natural resource. Thus, it is a major issue attracted with the country and its growth. There are many ways in which sustainability can be initiated by the country and its people. Also, people shall think of sustainability then only the target of sustainable future can be achieved. The major threat to sustainability is that if this process is not executed by people than the world might not see the future as well, because the environment, people, and their working cannot work effectively without sustainable energy resources. Thus, responses to the issue shall be innovated and executed to reduce the problem (Fox, Ray, 2016). The initial step shall be taken on the part of government that is, they shall set a standard limit for consumption of electricity by household and corporates. Consumption of energy more than this standard limit shall attract heavy penalties for people. This will initiate them to adequately sue such resources so that they do not need to pay more money to the government. Also, they shall impose taxes on the use of electricity; this will also reduce the use of electricity by people. Also, they shall initiate strategic plan which shall involve the use of renewable resources which shall assist the use of electricity consumption by people. Also, the plan shall spread awareness among people regarding electricity sustainability issues and ways to create sustainability (Strantzali, Aravossis, Livanos, 2017). The environment shall also be adequately taken care because excessive use of energy depletes the state of nature as electricity radiate gas and rays which negatively affect the state of nature. The best way in which consumption of electricity can be reduced is by circulating efficient use of electricity and the future condition without electricity. Power grid structure shall be defined which provide high-quality power demand of modern industries. Smart power grid system will introduce effective integration of various which shall replace the use of electricity in activities, proper distribution of power sources, effective electricity management as well (Gaspari, et. al., 2017). A committee shall be introduced with shall govern the rules related to sustainable electricity use and initiate awareness regarding the state of future without initiate electricity. The committee shall provide ways to the people with which they shall substitute the consumption of electricity in their day to day activities. Lastly, innovative alternatives shall be defined which shall reduce the dependence of people on electricity (Arawomo, 2017). Like, electricity shall be created with renewable resources such as solar energy, hydroelectricity etc. Thus, in the limelight of above-mentioned events, the fact that shall be noticed is that sustainable use of electricity is the need of the current era, otherwise extinction of electricity is also possible. Thus, people shall understand shall get acknowledge with this issue. They shall adequately make use of such resources then only sustainability is possible because society only makes use of electricity it is in their hand that how they initiate sustainability in the environment. Also, the government of the country shall also take adequate measures to educate people regarding sustainable use of electricity also people shall initiate the same in their working as well.
